Good dumplings, but I was expecting a little more given the hype around this restaurant features on Bourdain’s parts unknown. We got the spicy steam dumplings with pork and shrimp, which are wrapped in dough but not sealed which made the meat taste a little dry. I think I would want to try the boiled dumplings next time. We also got the king steam dumplings with pork and vegetable. The dough was very good, but the filling was a little bland for my taste as there was much more egg & noodle filling than pork Our favorite part was the free ban chan, really good quick pickled daikon and Kimchi. Also the service was quick and they were very kind and helpful. They do a very nice job. If you like simpler flavorings and food parings this may be better suited to your taste. It is located in a strip mall but the parking was full when we got there. We were able to find a space on the side streets. We went at noon on a Friday and were able to be seated right away, but I imagine it would be much more crowded on a weekend.

I love going to this restaurant with my partner, the service is amazing and quick! The dumplings are freshly made from scratch in an open kitchen. You also get a lot for a pretty good price for LA! We love getting the King Steamed Dumplings, the Dim Sum and the Fried Dumplings along with the Steamed ones.

GEM !!! A treasure not to be missed. At first I thought the prices a bit high. I ordered #8 (pork with spicy shrimp dumplings) Then i watched owner Kilak Kim pull out her dough and her filling and MAKE MY DUMPLINGS TO ORDER! Amazing. Mouth watering and a perfect 10 !!! $1.40 each was so worth it. Cannot wait to come back and try everything else soon. DELICIOUS. Also. Flash-Frozed dumplings to go.

Korean-style dumplings and shaomai! The portion was significant, but the quality/taste was ok. I ordered these on the menu to try #1 (king steam dumpling with port & vegetable) 7/10, and they were massive. #3 (spicy steam roll dumpling with pork and shrimp) 5/10. It was dried meat, and I did not see any shrimp, and not pungent. It was not good. #4 (Shaomai, small steam dumpling with pork and shrimp) 8/10, not bad and ok. It comes with vinegar and low spicy powder sauce. #14 (spicy beef soup with vegetables) It comes with big glass noodles at the bottom, which was 7/10. The price is decent, but I don't think it's worth that much for some dishes with ok quality. Generally, it's acceptable, but I will not return since there are no unique styles. Parking is free, and plenty of them!

The food and sides were overall great. We got the King steam dumplings which were giant and good. The spicy steam roll dumpling were great. The fried dumplings were good. The Korean styled steamed dumplings were amazing and probably my favorite. The only bad thing was the shrimp fried rice. It was not worth the money as the flavor was bland.

Please do yourself a huge favor and make this your dumpling destination. We came hungry and still had leftovers. WOW! Hits all the flavor profiles. Menu is not extensive but what they do have on the menu they do it beautifully. Chefs kiss! Seating is limit.

The Korean equivalent of dim sum. They also have other excellent traditional Korean dishes. Service is great. Plenty of parking. If you want to good Korean food or dumplings this is the place to go. Side note: I trust Anthony Bourdain's opinion.
